Winner of the 2009 Orlando Nonfiction Award from AROHO, Lambert is the author of the memoir IN SEARCH OF KINSHIP(a Rocky Mountain bestseller) and the novel SHIFTING STARS (finalist for the Mountains and Plains Book Award). Called a "Horse Whisperer for Writers," she leads life enhancement retreats for men and women and has worked with The Women’s Wilderness Institute, Grand Canyon Field Institute, and the Aspen Writers’ Foundation. Her River Writing Journeys were featured in the January, 2006 issue of Oprah’s O Magazine as “One of the top six great all-girl getaways of the year.” A keynote speaker and senior associate with the Children & Nature Network, she works with clients to help them hone writing skills, develop market-ready manuscripts, and live more balanced lives.
